Assignment Guidelines

Brief Summary and a Question [2x10 = 20%]: Pick any 10 weeks of the course and submit a brief summary of 150-200 words and a question, based on the reading assigned for that week. You will have to submit this assignment on Wednesday by 5pm, before the class on Thursday. 

 

Book Review [20%]: You will be given a list of books on comparative politics from which you will have to choose one book for review. A sample of a book review will be discussed in the class for your reference. I will provide the list of books on Comparative Politics, available in library, either in print or e-book format. Depending on whether we are holding classes in-person or online, I do recommend that you try to access print books from our library, if you are able to find it in a local library or even purchase, you can choose it for review.


You have to provide the name of the book you intend to Review by March 15, 2022. 

 

Creative Assignment [10%]: It must be a presentation of any topic learnt during the course/ part of the course modules that you connect with. The idea or concept must be well researched and while it may not have citations, your reading and understanding of the course material should be displayed by your work. Form: you can use any form from poster, picture, cartoon, poem, skit/ drama, video including film, animation or ted-ed.

 

End-Term Assessment: [50%]: Q&A /MCQ/Short Notes.
